This special care tips session will give an overview of how dental teams can work to improve oral health outcomes for both dementia patients and younger, more reluctant patients presenting with caries.

To help improve skills for managing dental care in younger, anxious patients or older patients with dementia.

Understand the impact of poor oral health on an individual with dementia - How can dental teams improve oral health outcomes for patients in the early stages of dementia and the benefits of doing so - Explore a range of minimally invasive treatment options for managing dental caries in anxious children and how they fit within the principles of Minimum Intervention Dentistry.
