Q: How do I register?

A: If you would like to attend the 2023 show, please click here to register your interest.

Q: Is there a limit on number of registration forms that can be sent?

A: No, but each delegate must register using a unique email address.

Q: What information do I need to give aside from usual contact details?

A: Your GDC number, if you are a registered dental professional. A unique email address is required for every attendee, for the purpose of providing CPD certificates.

Q: Can I register colleagues?

A: You can invite your colleagues to join you when you register - simply enter their name and a unique email address and they will receive an email invitation from you with a link to register. If you would like to register a group please email Josh Vanderwyk at  j.vanderwyk@closerstillmedia.com.

Q: Is there a charge to register or enter the show?

A: No, it’s free of charge for registered dental professionals only.

Q: Can I register at the venue on the day?

A: Yes you may. However, we recommend you pre-register to avoid time queuing to enter the event.

Q: What will you send me once I have registered?

A: You will receive an email confirmation when you register - please check your junk email if you don't receive this and also mark as safe the email address closerstill@dynamail.co.uk.

Q: When will I receive my badge?

A: Badges will be posted out 2 weeks prior to the show as long as you have registered in advance. We will also email out badges the week of the show for you to print out yourself if you don't register in time to receive your badge in the post. If you don't receive your badge before the show don't worry, you will also be able to print out your badge at the registration desks when you arrive.

Q: Where can I get the conference programme information?

A: You can view the programme online here and you can collect a Show Guide on arrival to the event.

Q: How do I gain eCPD?

A: All British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show delegates are scanned into theatre sessions so eCPD learning can be recorded and added to delegate certificates.

Certificates will be emailed to delegates approximately 6-8 weeks after the show. Make sure you get scanned into every theatre session you attend to ensure all your eCPD is recorded. You will need to remain in the theatre for the duration of the session to gain the full amount of time - if you leave a session early, you will only gain the amount of time that you attended the session for. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after a session has started, you may not be awarded CPD for that session, so please do arrive in plenty of time for your chosen sessions.

Q: Will the presentations be available to view after the show?

A: Presentations will not be available after the show. Make sure you attend the show and visit all the presentations you'd like to gain eCPD from.

Q: Where can I get a list of exhibiting companies?

A: A full list of exhibitors is available on this website, click here to view now.

Q: Can I book hotel accommodation through you?

A: Yes, we will have special rates for hotels through our agency Event Express

ADMISSIONS POLICY

Q: Can I bring my children?

A: There is a strict no minor's (under the age of 18 years old) policy. The Dentistry Show Birmingham remains a clinical and trade event for dental and allied trade professionals only. Please make alternative arrangements for childcare as there is no provision at the NEC Birmingham. Due to the nature of the event and the types of products showcased, this is something we have to regulate.

Q: Are students allowed access?

A: Dental students are welcome to attend the show.

Q: Do attendees need to bring business identification?

A: We recommend you bring a business card if you don’t register prior to the event.
