Claire is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and has over 27 years of clinical experience and 20 years of experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in periodontology and dental hygiene. She currently teaches all aspects of non-surgical periodontal and implant therapy to post-graduate periodontology MSc students at KCL and Perio and Implant residents at NYU. She completed a master’s degree in higher education in 2007 and is the former program lead for BDS 1& 2 Periodontology at KCL. Claire is currently working on her Ph.D. and her areas of research are implant surface decontamination, behavioural interventions for oral health, and the reduction of aerosols in ultrasonic devices. She is a published author in peer-review journals, has contributed to two textbooks, works in private practice and regularly delivers online and hands-on training in all aspects of non-surgical periodontal & implant therapy.
