Dr. O’Loghlen qualified from University College Cork in 2002 before emigrating to the UK to work in a mixed private/NHS general practice in Wymondham, Norfolk. Eighteen months later he moved to a fully private practice in the coastal town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk where he remained until returning to Ireland in 2007. He started his first Invisalign case in 2003 and has been steadily building experience and evolving his treatment style as Invisalign cases have grown. He has now treated over 1000 cases. During his time in the UK, Dr. O’Loghlen completed a certificate in implant dentistry at the University of Manchester and also attended the Eastman Dental Institute (UCL) where he completed his Masters in Restorative Dental Practice. Dr. O’Loghlen also completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation in Trinity College Dublin in 2012. Bridge Place Dental Practice was opened by Dr. O’Loghlen with the support of his father in 2007. Dr. O’Loghlen has pursued a course of using the latest proven technologies to deliver minimally invasive treatment. He is particularly interested in digital dentistry including iTero, Invisalign, CAD-CAM, CBCT, implants, 3D printing, lasers and adhesive dentistry. Since opening, the practice has grown to a staff of 22 including 6 dentists and a regular visiting periodontist and provides a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. Modern dental consumers expect all dentistry to be aesthetic. Invisalign has been at the core of meeting this expectation and consequently the growth of Bridge Place Dental Practice.
