Johanna Leven graduated in 2010 from Dundee University and has held posts in general practice, community dental service, maxillofacial surgery and the hospital dental service in Scotland. She completed specialist training in Restorative Dentistry at Liverpool University Dental Hospital and was appointed as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester in 2019. Johanna’s sub-specialist interest is in prosthodontics with particular emphasis on developmental dental conditions and tooth wear. She is the Restorative Lead for Paediatric Dental Transition Care and joint Restorative Lead for Manchester’s Cleft Lip and Palate service. She is a clinical supervisor on the Fixed and Removal Prosthodontic MSc program at Manchester and regular lecturer on a range of prosthodontic courses.
