John has worked in both Prosthodontics and Orthodontics laboratories and teaching establishments in Scotland and Ireland. In 30 years of teaching, he has trained over 2000 dentists and postgraduates from all over the world in dental technology. Lectured and taught in the UK, Ireland, Malaysia and Germany, presented at the BOC in the UK and the European Orthodontic Society Congresses in Istanbul in Turkey and Reykjavik in Iceland. Academic achievements: City and Guilds advanced certificates in Crown and Bridge, Prosthodontics and Orthodontic technology. Postgraduate Master of Science in Medical Science (MSc.) from the University of Glasgow in 1996 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (PGCTLHE) from the National University of Ireland in 2006. Recently advised on the readability and technical content of the English Translation of Ursula Wirtz German book “O-Atlas II” Published in 2019.
