Linzy Baker began her career in dentistry in 2011 and has since developed into a passionate advocate for education, mentorship, and innovation within the profession. After qualifying as a Dental Therapist in 2017 from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, she launched her career on Harley Street in London’s West End, where she continues to work today. A Dental Therapist with expertise in facial aesthetics, Linzy combines her clinical skills with her enthusiasm for mentoring and inspiring others. Linzy provides guidance and support to colleagues, whether qualified, newly qualified, or those considering joining the profession. Her mentoring—both virtual and in person—focuses on helping others navigate their career paths and make the most of their potential. Linzy is actively involved in exploring and working with new innovations in dentistry and aesthetics, staying at the forefront of advancements in the field. She has served as a judge for the Private Dentistry Awards and frequently participates in webinars and speaking engagements, where she shares her expertise and insights with the wider dental community. Additionally, Linzy is a trainer in facial aesthetics with the Botulinum Toxin Club (BTC), where she supports delegates at both in person training as well as through post-training support groups, ensuring they feel confident and capable as they progress in their careers. She applies the full scope of her skills as a Dental Therapist and also contributes her expertise through involvement in various boards (such as the ADI) and committees, advocating for collaboration and the progression of the dental profession. A natural connector, Linzy thrives on building networks and linking professionals to solve problems or foster collaborations. She is dedicated to raising awareness of the vital role of dental therapists, sharing knowledge, and expanding opportunities for those in the field. Whether through her clinical work, mentoring, or public speaking, Linzy is driven by her commitment to inspire, educate, and empower others both inside and outside of the dental profession.
