Following qualifying as a Dental Therapist from Cardiff University, Mari has worked in a variety of settings across Wales. Limited access to specialists in North Wales, developed her interest in paediatric and special care dentistry to ensure the best possible care for her patients within her scope. She is the BADTs Wales Representative and meets regularly with national bodies to ensure policy is developed with consideration for the interest of DCPs. Her current role is as a Lecturer in Bangor University on the Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy programs. An exciting endeavour which aims to enhance the workforce in Wales.
