Matthew Brennand Roper

Dr Brennand Roper completed his specialist training in Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry (Implants, Periodontology, Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Oral Reconstruction) at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, before being appointed to a Consultant post at the Glasgow Dental Hospital. In 2022, He was appointed as restorative lead for dental developmental deformities, cleft and hypodontia at the Bristol Dental Hospital. Matthew is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Alongside his Consultant role, Matthew works in private practice, based at 40 Harley St, London, and at Bristol’s Specialist Dental and Implant Centre. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol.
In 2018, he was elected to the UK and Ireland Young ITI Committee, and onto the leadership team in 2022. He also sits on the Global Young ITI Committee. Matthew is an examiner for the University of Bristol and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Matthew is an invited lecturer both nationally and internationally, with publications in peer reviewed journals. His research interests lie within the fields of hard and soft tissue regenerative procedures associated with hypodontia and implant therapies.
