Paul is a BDA Director and has been on the Principal Executive Committee since 2012. He is Deputy Postgraduate Dental Dean and Associate Dean for Dental Core Training in the North East and North Cumbria. His background in primary dental care includes ownership of two primarily NHS practices in South Shields between 2006 and 2015. After seven years as a GPT trainer, he became Dental Foundation Training Programme Director for GPT in 2012. He is a part-time Associate Clinical Lecturer at Newcastle University. He is a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and has obtained FDS from RCS Glasgow.
