Aims
To equip young dentists with the knowledge and confidence to understand, evaluate, and negotiate contractual arrangements that will reflect the new NHS dental contract, ensuring they enter working relationships that are fair, transparent, and accurately capture their professional role and employment status.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand why written contracts matter and how ensuring they accurately reflect the commercial intentions of the parties and real working relationship protects both young dentists and their practices - Recognise key contract elements, including employment/worker status and the essential terms every young dentist should look for.
