Artificial intelligence is transforming dentistry across clinical care, patient experience, and technology. This session introduces the UK’s first AI and Digital Oral Health unit at King’s College London and highlights BeCertain, a 2026 spin-out developing trusted, high-performing AI solutions for UK dentistry.
Aims
To explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping dentistry across practice, patient experience, and enabling technologies - To discuss the barriers, risks, and opportunities, with emphasis on maintaining clinical autonomy and trust - To introduce the role and work of the UK’s first embedded unit of AI and Digital Oral Health at King's College London and its spin-out BeCertain.
