Aims
The aim of this lecture is to increase awareness, knowledge, and clinical confidence in integrating effective oral care into the multidisciplinary management of patients with head and neck cancer, in order to reduce oral complications, support treatment delivery, and improve patient quality of life across the cancer care pathway.
Learning Outcomes
- Recognise the critical role of oral care in the overall management of patients with head and neck cancer and understand how oral health directly influences treatment outcomes and quality of life. Participants will gain insight into common oral complications and appreciate the clinical implications of these conditions.
