To provide the GDP with a diagnostic toolkit for key presentations in primary care; rationalising fast-track suspected cancers versus urgent (non-cancer) or routine referrals. Subsequent NHS secondary care pathway for these patients will be summarised, as well as explaining recent surgical and non-surgical advances in the definitive management of oral cancer.
Aims
To improve efficiency and early management of suspected cancers versus benign/urgent presentations.
