The Role of Dental Nurses is not to diagnose, but to notice, support, educate, and escalate — and the evidence shows that these actions save and improve lives. Oral Cancer is one of the fastest-rising cancer in the UK, Dental Nurses in both Primary and Secondary Care are on the front line for early detection and managing the symptoms of the treatment that these patients undergo.

Explore the long-term effects of the disease
Highlight the need for oral screening in the over 65's
