This presentation will examine common mistakes that contribute to oral surgery complications, outline appropriate responses when they occur, and highlight how increased self‑awareness and adherence to fundamental surgical techniques can support improved clinical outcomes.

Aims

Feel more confident in performing oral surgery whilst developing a clear awareness of your own limitations and effective strategies for managing them.

Learning Outcomes

  • Have an insight in to how oral surgery problems can happen - How understanding a bit more about ourselves can help avoid problems and deal with them - Be able to identify risk factors associated with oral surgery - Have a few key technique points that will make their oral surgery life easier.
