Aims
To discuss the challenge of achieving and maintaining periodontal health, using the British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (BSP) guidelines to establish the treatment framework. Supporting patients to achieve optimal self-care through the most effective utilisation of plaque management strategies including the consideration of mouthwash inclusion.
