An oral health educator has an important and valuable role within a dental practice to promote good oral health care and work with patients to help prevent oral disease. -

A qualified Dental Nurse who is awarded the NEBDN certificate in Dental Radiography, will be able to act under prescription as an IR(ME)R operator, in order to safely take intra-oral and extra-oral radiographs of patients. -

The course aims to prepare registered dental nurses to display sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge for the application of topical fluoride and be able to competently apply topical fluoride to adult & child patients under prescription from the dentist. -

The course will provide GDC registered dental nurses with an in depth knowledge of dental impression materials and various techniques in order to facilitate patient treatment and increase patient care. You will be provided with underpinning knowledge which will be further developed through practical application during the training session and then continued to develop a record of experience within your work place. -
