David Edwards
Specialist Endodontist and Clinical Fellow in Restorative Dentistry,
Newcastle School of Dentistry
David is a specialist endodontist and currently combines academic and clinical work at Newcastle Dental Hospital and private practice. David is the Degree Programme Director for the MClinDent in Endodontics at Newcastle University and is an active researcher in dental pain, pulp biology, dental education, and vital pulp treatments. His PhD focused on dental pain and the management of pulpitis and attracted external funding from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the European Society of Endodontology, the British Endodontic Society, and the Wellcome Trust, alongside international presentations and awards.
