Donna has worked as a general dental practitioner for over 20 years starting in busy NHS practices and eventually founding her own surgery which now has 14 clinicians and over thirty members of staff. Over this period, Donna trained in facial aesthetics with her range of skills evolving naturally over time as her experience grew. She worked across six different facial aesthetics clinics before focussing on her own. In the meantime, Donna became a key opinion leader for Galderma and a trainer of other healthcare professionals also lecturing and providing live on-stage facial aesthetic demonstrations on behalf of Medfx and dental directory. Donna still performs dentistry but has also used aesthetic treatments in a therapeutic manner within dentistry to benefit healthcare. She now aims to pass on her experience to dentists including how to overcome the barriers she has faced on the way to setting up a successful facial aesthetics clinic alongside its therapeutic use in dentistry.
