Doug graduated from Birmingham University in 2003 winning the Centenary cup, he then went on to do vocational training in Cheltenham and won the case presentation prize for his group and was awarded membership of the faculty of general practitioners in 2005 by examination. In 2008 and 2009 he completed two year long restorative dentistry courses with Tipton Training in Manchester and following this was awarded the Tipton training practical restorative dentist of the year award in 2009. Doug became a partner at the practice in 2013. In 2018 Doug was awarded the certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry by the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry through examination and case presentation and in 2019. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the British Academy of Cosmetic dentistry and KOL and Beta tester for 3shape.
