Fiona is a trained and practicing mentor and coach and has a number of special interest fields which include Education, Public Health, Human Factors and Ergonomics, Leadership and Management, and Mental Health Wellness. She is an External Examiner and an Education Associate and Registration panel member for the GDC and has trained to be an Expert Witness. Fiona has been instrumental in driving the work on sexual misconduct in the workplace and has attended interprofessional meetings in the field. She has a longstanding career in the profession of over forty-five years, and is a peer reviewer and Trustee for Dentaid. She was the first member of the wider dental team to receive an (Hon) Fellowship from FGDP (UK) and an early recipient of the Fellowship of Dental Trainers (RCS Edinburgh) and is behind the Mental Health Wellness in Dentistry initiative.
