Consultant and Specialist in Restorative Dentistry,

Neil graduated from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London in 1998. Following the completion of a 5-year specialist restorative training programme in London he was appointed as Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham in 2006.
In specialist practice at Cripps Dental Centre he provides a range of restorative dentistry treatments including specialist root canal treatments, dental implant based care, the management of broken down and worn teeth, and aesthetic dental treatments. He improves the appearance of teeth with the use of tooth coloured bonded composite restorations, veneers and crowns. He is focused on preserving teeth and tooth structure and uses the latest minimally invasive and adhesive techniques to achieve this.
His hospital Consultant post is focused on complex dental implant based treatments to help patients affected by head and neck cancer, and also the management of patients with cleft lip and palate and younger patients with hypodontia who have not developed teeth.
Neil has a range of skills and experience to be able to restore and rebuild worn and broken down teeth or replace them with dental implants, bridges or dentures.
He has a particular interest in rebuilding worn teeth and has published research and frequently lectures in this field. He sits on the council for the British Society of Prosthodontics and is the honorary treasurer.
He is a husband and father and enjoys playing volleyball, cycling and continuing in his quest to try to learn to play the piano.
