Philippa Barnwell is a Dental Hygiene Therapist currently undertaking a PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Greenwich. She holds a BSc in Oral Health Science from the University of the Highlands and Islands and an MSc in Dental Public Health, Policy and Leadership from Queen Mary University of London. Her doctoral research explores mental health within the UK oral health workforce, investigating occupational risks, professional experiences and support systems to improve wellbeing across the dental team. Alongside her research, Philippa continues in clinical practice and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider and wellbeing advocate, with a strong interest in holistic, patient-centred care and multidisciplinary healthcare collaboration.
