Preetee Hylton is the new President of the British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN). She also is a practising dental nurse and a safeguarding lead at a private practice in Chelsea, London; as well as a dental nursing tutor/assessor at the Dental Nursing Academy and an Associate (OSCE) Examiner with the NEBDN. Preetee is also an editorial board member for the Dental Nursing Journal and occasionally features in BDJ Team and Dentistry.co.uk. Preetee is passionate about elevating dental nursing as a profession in oral healthcare; she also relentlessly raises awareness about domestic abuse due to her lived experience and speaks openly about this sensitive subject at dental conferences/events.
