Rafina O’Brien is a dental hygienist and therapist with 14 years’ experience across private practice, NHS, community dentistry, and special care services. She is a former military dental hygienist and focuses on preventive dentistry and improving patient outcomes through behaviour-led care and effective communication. She has spoken on prevention and patient-centred practice and contributed to an international panel discussion in the United States on the growth and evolving role of dental hygiene. Rafina is a Dentaid ambassador and advocates for women in dentistry, supporting visibility and development within the profession, alongside oral health outreach and fundraising initiatives.
