Stefan White is the Founder and Managing Director of Tahir Oral Care. He founded the company following complications from Crohn’s disease, a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). In 2024, he underwent life-saving surgery after an abscess ruptured, an experience that reshaped his understanding of long-term health and prevention. The company is named after the surgeon who saved his life, Tahir. Alongside this, his Crohn’s caused severe mouth ulcers and sensitive gums, exposing the daily challenge many patients face with flossing. Stefan is now on a life-long mission to increase flossing habits in the UK from 29% to 50%, focusing on behaviour change and making interdental cleaning easier to adopt.
